In the presence of numerous partners, colleagues, and friends, we proudly launched our newest project: Advancing Value-Based Education Through Teacher Development Policy and Practice Reform in Kosovo!
This structural initiative, the first of its kind in Kosovo co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, aims to transform teacher preparation programs to better reflect values like equality, non-discrimination, civic education, and inclusion at all levels of education.
Over the next four years, in collaboration with Universiteti “Ukshin Hoti” Prizren, Ministria e Arsimit, Shkencës, Teknologjisë dhe Inovacionit, Universität Graz, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Kosova Education Center – KEC, and EdGuard Institute, we will:
Enhance teacher preparation programs
Strengthen continuous professional development
Support school practices to develop responsible citizenship competencies
We believe these steps will have a long-lasting positive impact on the quality of the education system in Kosovo and ensure that the concept of values is effectively integrated into programs and teaching practices.
